The Great Migration typically occurs between July and October. This is when millions of wildebeest and zebras cross the Mara River from the Serengeti. It's the peak season for wildlife viewing.

For Budget and Standard packages, the Maasai village visit is often an optional activity at an extra cost (approx. $25–$30 per person). In some Luxury packages, it may be included as part of the cultural experience.

While Mt. Kilimanjaro is most iconic from Amboseli, you can also get stunning views of it from parts of Tsavo West, especially on clear mornings.
